These are the prices you will see in the configurator, for the pod itself. Furniture packages and installation are separate lines so you can see exactly what each part costs rather than working backwards from one bundled figure.

Prices are for the pod in the configuration you choose. Finishes, furniture and compatible extras are listed separately as you build. Delivery, destination costs and any applicable tax are confirmed on your written quotation, so the total you approve is the total you pay.

What is included as standard
Every FocusPod arrives with laminated glass front and rear, layered acoustic insulation, adjustable ventilation, dimmable LED lighting with adjustable colour temperature, power and an occupancy light. Speech level reduction is laboratory tested at greater than 29 dB under ISO 23351-1, the international standard written specifically for pods. Every pod is covered by our five-year structural and electrical warranty.
There is no separate charge for the black or white exterior or for the standard interior palette. Other exterior colours use the displayed upgrade price, and a custom interior colour is priced per pod. All of it is listed separately as you build, so nothing arrives as a surprise on the quotation.

What changes your final figure
Four things move the number between the table above and your written quotation. The model and its footprint. The furniture arrangement you choose, which is what turns a shell into a usable room. Optional extras such as switchable privacy glass, air conditioning, a glass whiteboard or an access control panel. And the installation scope for your building, because a ground-floor office with level access and an upper floor in a managed office park with restricted receiving hours are genuinely different projects.
Send us the province, postal code, receiving contact and site access details, and we will build that into the quotation rather than discovering it on delivery day. Estate and office-park access, restricted receiving times and anything needing special handling are reviewed before the delivery plan is agreed. Delivery and any applicable tax sit outside the pod price and are confirmed on the quotation.
What a pod actually draws
A question we get here more than anywhere else: what does it do to the backup supply. The answer is very little, because a pod is lighting and fans rather than heating or cooling.

These figures are for the standard pod. They are not a socket rating, and they do not include optional air conditioning or whatever you plug in inside the pod. Have your electrician or the company that maintains your inverter or UPS size the supply properly before you rely on it.
In practice a pod's own draw sits in the same territory as a desktop computer, so keeping one running alongside desks and networking on an existing backup supply is usually straightforward. Optional air conditioning changes that materially, so raise it with us early if it is on your list.
A pod against building a meeting room
The usual alternative is partitioning off part of the floor. Once partitioning, a door, ceiling and lighting changes and making good are counted, a built meeting room means a contractor on site for weeks and a number that is rarely lower than a pod by the time it is finished.
In a leased building or an office park it normally also means landlord approval, and at the end of the lease you often pay again to take the room out. A FocusPod is furniture: no approval, assembled in a morning, and it moves with you to the next premises instead of being written off with the lease.
The tax position
A pod bought for the business is a capital asset, and the section 11(e) wear and tear allowance lets you write its cost off against taxable income over the asset's expected life.
Questions about price
What about VAT?
Your written quotation sets out VAT alongside the pod, delivery and installation, so the total you approve is the total you pay. If your business is VAT registered you would normally claim the input tax in the usual way.
Is delivery included?
Delivery is quoted for your actual address, because it depends on the province, the receiving arrangements and the access route. The quotation brings everything into one figure to approve.
Do you deliver outside Johannesburg and Cape Town?
Yes. Share the full address with your enquiry and we will confirm the delivery and installation plan for it. Longer routes and restricted-access sites are assessed before the plan is agreed rather than assumed.
Do I have to take installation?
No. Two people can assemble a pod with the tools supplied. Installation is there for the projects where you would rather not, or where building access needs planning.
Can I see one before I order?
Yes. Turn any model around in the 3D configurator, watch the product films, and if you would like to be walked through it, we will do a live video walkthrough of the pod you are considering and answer questions as we go. Send us the room dimensions beforehand and we will talk through how it fits.
Are the front and rear both glass?
Yes. Every FocusPod has glass at both the front and rear. Standard glass is clear. Optional PDLC privacy glass can be selected for the front only or for both the front and rear.
Can I move the pod once it is installed?
Yes. Every FocusPod has built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet. Raise the feet to move the pod on its wheels, then lower and adjust them to level the pod in its new position.
