Office phone booths
A one-person booth is the highest-utilisation thing most offices buy. It is in use from the first week, it costs less than any other pod, and it solves the complaint you actually get, which is that nobody can take a call without disturbing the room. Two models, both priced on this page.

Solo or Solo Plus, and how to tell which you need
Both take one person. They are for different work, and choosing wrong is the most common mistake we see.
Solo has a curved worktop and an optional pedestal stool. It is the smallest footprint in the range and it is built for the short call: step in, take the call, step out. If your problem is phone calls and video calls of ten or twenty minutes, this is the one, and it is the cheapest way to solve it.
Solo Plus takes a full-size ergonomic swivel chair and a proper working desk. It is for someone who will sit in it for two hours doing focused work, or who runs back-to-back calls all morning. The extra footprint buys posture, and posture is what decides whether people use it for long sessions or go back to their desk.
If you are buying more than one, a mix usually beats a matched set. Most floors need more Solos than Solo Pluses.
How many, and where
A common starting point is one booth for every ten to fifteen desks, but treat that as a place to begin rather than a rule. The real number comes from watching your own floor for a week: count how often someone walks out to take a call, and how often a meeting room gets booked by one person for a phone call. Those two counts are your demand.
Placement decides utilisation more than quantity does. Put booths on the route people already walk and visible from the desks they serve. A booth around a corner gets used by the people who already knew it was there and nobody else. Do not put them in the quiet zone, because that creates a stream of people walking through the space that exists to be undisturbed.
Start with fewer than you think and add. A floor with three booths permanently occupied has learned something useful; a floor with twelve half-used ones has learned an expensive lesson.
What makes a booth actually get used
Three things, and only one of them is acoustics.
It has to be quiet enough that the call is private, which means a speech level reduction figure measured on the assembled booth. Ours is laboratory tested at 30.5–30.8 dB under ISO 23351-1, which in a normal office puts a conversation inside below the room's own noise floor.
It has to be comfortable enough for the length of call people actually make. Adjustable ventilation is standard, and it matters: an unventilated box is unpleasant within about forty minutes and people stop going in.
And it has to look like somewhere you would take a client call from. Laminated glass front and rear, dimmable lighting with adjustable colour temperature so you are lit properly on camera, and an occupancy light so nobody opens the door mid-call.

What is included as standard
Every FocusPod arrives with laminated glass front and rear, layered acoustic insulation, adjustable ventilation, dimmable LED lighting with adjustable colour temperature, power and an occupancy light. Speech level reduction is laboratory tested at 30.5–30.8 dB under ISO 23351-1, the international standard written specifically for pods. Every pod is covered by our five-year structural and electrical warranty.

There is no separate charge for the black or white exterior or for the standard interior palette. Other exterior colours use the displayed upgrade price, and a custom interior colour is priced per pod. All of it is listed separately as you build, so nothing arrives as a surprise on the quotation.
See it properly before you decide
Take a look inside. The film below walks through the Solo, the most compact model in the range, and the 3D configurator lets you turn any model around, change the finishes and try the furniture layouts. If you would rather be walked through it, we will do a live video walkthrough of the pod you are considering and answer questions as we go.
Common questions
How many phone booths do we need?
One per ten to fifteen desks is a reasonable starting point, but count your own floor for a week before ordering. How often someone leaves the room to take a call, and how often a meeting room is booked by one person, is a better guide than any ratio.
Solo or Solo Plus?
Solo for short calls, smallest footprint, lowest price. Solo Plus if people will sit and work in it for an hour or more, because it takes a full chair and desk. Most floors want more Solos than Solo Pluses.
Can a booth be moved once it is in?
Yes. It is freestanding and sits on levelling feet, so it can be repositioned, dismantled and reassembled. Nothing is fixed to the building.
Does it need electrical work or landlord approval?
No. It plugs into a standard socket and is not fixed to the building, so there is no construction, no consent to obtain and nothing to reinstate.
How long does delivery take?
Estimated delivery: 3–8 weeks. Final timing confirmed in your quote.
Can I see one before I order?
Yes. Turn any model around in the 3D configurator, watch the product films, and if you would like to be walked through it, we will do a live video walkthrough of the pod you are considering. Send us the room dimensions beforehand and we will talk through how it fits.
Are the front and rear both glass?
Yes. Every FocusPod has glass at both the front and rear. Standard glass is clear. Optional PDLC privacy glass can be selected for the front only or for both the front and rear.
Can I move the pod once it is installed?
Yes. Every FocusPod has built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet. Raise the feet to move the pod on its wheels, then lower and adjust them to level the pod in its new position.
